Costruire l’architettura

This book deals with the analysis of the architectural project through the preliminary construction of the design idea, a process determined and developed according to an integral approach to building design.
Building is the key word with which the different concepts that make up architecture are summarised, applied and implemented, principles of a compositional, technological, structural and energetic nature. This approach, considered useful and necessary to define and develop the architectural project in an integral way, is the design criterion to be used and maintained, in order to increase and appropriate, with a broader vision, all the issues within a quality design.
The construction of the model (maquette), understood in this sense as part of the original course, occupies a central role in the book, as well as in the development of the project, as an essential step for a conscious design of the architectural project at different scales of study.
